In THEIS, Twitch is read-only. You do not publish to it — it is used to pull broadcast streams, viewership and clips so that they sit alongside the rest of the content.
Procedure
- Settings → Streams → for Twitch click Connect.
- Sign in with your Twitch account and confirm the permissions.
What gets downloaded
- Broadcast streams: name, category, length, views.
- Viewership over time: peak, average and the trend curve. It is read while the broadcast is running.
- Clips a audience growth (followers, subscribers by tier).
Twitch deletes archives itself after 14 days (partners after 60), so we cannot reach further into the past. For streams broadcast before you connected the channel, viewership stays empty — it cannot be calculated retroactively.
What Twitch does not give you
Traffic sources (where the viewers came from) are only in the Twitch Creator Dashboard, they are not in the public interface. THEIS therefore does not show them and does not fake them.
