THEISV Settings → Automatic rules you set the conditions by which newly uploaded videos sort themselves — they get the selected channels as Not published and they can skip the copy or the thumbnail. That saves manual clicking for videos that always come out the same.
How the rule is identified
Every rule has its own Conditions. There are three to choose from:
- Video type — is / is not Horizontal, Vertical or STORY.
- Series — is / is not one of your series.
- Name — contains / does not contain the entered word.
You can add more conditions and in the field The conditions must you choose whether they should meet ALL (AND), or meet AT LEAST ONE (OR).
What the rule does
In the section Action — do not publish on the platforms you tick the channels the video should not go to — on the video they are marked straight away as Not published and the reason shows the name of the rule that set it. Below that are Skip steps: Skip copy (texts) a Skip thumbnail. The video then carries on through production without waiting for anyone.
How to add a rule
- Click on + Add rule.
- Fill in Rule name — for example „No horizontals to TikTok". You will recognise the rule by it in the overview.
- Using the button + Condition add conditions and set whether all of them must apply, or whether one is enough.
- Tick the channels and the steps this should apply to.
- Keep it switched on Rule active and save.
You can only save a rule that has a name, at least one condition and at least one action — otherwise the application warns you.
Rules overview
All the rules are in a table with the columns Name, Conditions, Event a Status. The status shows whether the rule is active, or off — a disabled one stays saved, it is just not used (the row is greyed out). With the Edit you edit the rule, with the icon Delete you remove it. If you don't have any yet, the table will say so.
