Events and modes: separate projects

Events split your work into separate projects — each event has its own settings, its own videos and its own numbering from #1. Alongside events you can also run standard mode for regular post planning. You set both in Settings → Events and modes.

Events / Projects

The table shows all events. In the column Active you tick the one the whole team works in — its name and logo appear next to the main logo and its data loads. You can also pick the row No active event, when nothing is going on: the event banner disappears from the menu and the videos are hidden, but nothing is deleted.

  1. Click on + Add Event and fill in Event name.
  2. V Setting up a new event choose Empty / default, or Copy from: of another event — the copy takes over the series, the generator, the platforms, the workflow and the library; videos are not copied.
  3. Optionally upload Logo — ideally a PNG with a transparent background.
  4. Then tick the new event in the column Active.

Using the button Open you view the event just for yourself — nothing switches for anyone else and you get back via Close the preview. The pencil icon renames the event, or via Replace logo you replace the logo, and the bin icon removes it from the list.

The active event cannot be deleted — switch to another one first. And even after you remove it from the list, that event's videos and settings stay saved; they only disappear from the picker.

Standard mode (post planner)

A separate space for everyday social network planning — the planner, posts including carousels and the inbox, without events and the production process. You switch it on with the button Turn on standard mode, you switch it off with the button Turn off. Then you set up Social networks (standard mode platforms), Tags, Content pillars a Board statuses (Planner) — for a status you also pick a colour. At the bottom, assign people Access; whoever has it will see the mode switch in the left-hand menu. People with the role Member and admins have it automatically. You set up your own social network accounts for standard mode by switching in the menu to Standard mode and you open Settings → Publishing — they are stored separately from events.

User access to events

Here you decide who may open which event. For each team member click the event name — highlighted with a tick means they are allowed to open it and switch to it in Settings. Everyone has the current event (marked with a star) automatically, but it can be taken away from them. Admins see all events, which is why they are not in the list.
